JUMP Music Initiative Podcast EP#1 with Guest Kate Stevens  

KATE STEVENS Award winning Calgarian. Kate Stevens vocal talents are diverse with a mix of emotive folk & soulful pop with major influences from timeless voices such as Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Carole King and Joni Mitchell. Her vocals combine uniquely with the sound of her chosen instruments, the ukulele, the piano and the guitar. She creates distinctive melodies and meaningful lyrics. Kate is a community builder, collaborator and supporter for youth musicians.  

Miss Stevens was nominated for four 2019 YYC Music Awards and was awarded the 2019 YYC Music Awards RnB Artist of the Year. She was a double award recipient of the 2018 YYC Music Awards Female Artist of the Year and The Zackariah and the Prophets Memorial Award. In 2018, she received the SOCAN Foundation for Young Canadian Songwriters Award. Miss Stevens debut EP, Handmade Rumours was released in 2017, she released two singles in 2018 - it’s real and Right Choice and now her newest single - Meant for Me was released in June 2019.
