OMA - Office for Metropolitan Architecture - is one of the world's most exciting offices in the field of architecture and urban planning. The journey is the reward, perceiving architecture as a never-ending process of constantly changing conditions and perspectives. Opposites determine the partly sculptural character of buildings. They can not only be found on the facades but also in its interior structures and processes. And because of exactly these contrasts they have an effect on the surrounding. With the AMO think tank, moreover, the usual boundaries of architecture are abandoned. AMO is the research, branding and publication studio of the architectural practice. It is conceived as the mirror image of OMA, operating as a think tank within and independently of the firm. Architecture is therefore considered a lot further, free from conventions and exploring new possibilities. In today's podcast episode we take a look behind the scenes and talk about “Transformation - on different scales” with our guest Chris van Duijn from OMA.
