This is the fifth episode in a row where I have been talking about the Sacred Heart of Jesus. All of the episodes leading up to this one have been important, but this one tops them all. Today we will be discussing the incredible way that Jesus loves us.

Afterall, at the most basic level, a devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an exploration in the love of Jesus Christ. We fall deeper and deeper into this love as we grow closer to Jesus and His heart.

In this episode I discuss six characteristics of Jesus’s love. They are:

  1. His love is always pursuing us.

  2. His love generously provides for us.

  3. His love seeks to protect us.

  4. His love is tender and merciful.

  5. His love is willing to suffer for us.

  6. His love for us is eternal.

For each characteristic I discuss not only the Gospel story where this is demonstrated, but also a story from my own life where I experienced Jesus’s love in this way.
