Why would a 7-word tweet by Kanye West, a black man, be so upsetting to so many black people? And why do black people make other black people pay a price for thinking outside of what is considered to be culturally normative? To answer these questions, Darrell and Virgil take you back to Genesis 1 and discuss, with a little help from Friedrich Nietzsche (of all people), how the ability to use one’s mind and think for one’s self is an evidence of what it means that we are individually and uniquely created in the “image of God”.
