Amber Vasquez is an artist who at the time of this recording is at the tail end of her apprenticeship as a tattooist. I wanted to talk to her about how she got to this point in her career to get a snapshot of what it’s like to embark into a career in tattooing from the perspective of someone who’s at the beginning of theirs.

She’s a strong and intelligent person who’s drive coupled with her discipline are key ingredients beyond her talents that paint the picture of someone destined to succeed.
