Alaska Junior Theater was born 38+ years ago when residents observed there was very little theater, dance and entertainment available for Anchorage youth. As the city population has grown, so has the outreach and now includes kids from Mat-Su valley. Each year the theater runs 5 major productions and more than 40,000 Alaska children participate. K-LOVE's Becky Hansen talks with exec dir. Lainie Dreas about the organization mission and programs.
