Being we have a lot of new swingers to our show, and there is an upcoming Kink Night at the Korral this Friday, we felt we could offer swingers who were considering coming out for the excitement a fun article we found on HuffPost about things you need to know before trying kink. It's light-hearted, quick, and informative. Of course, they missed a few things, so we'll add our own flavor to it, for sure. If you're a long-time fan of the show, this segment should serve as a fun refresher when talking to new people about "what's behind the leather curtain."

(Swingers, stay tuned in!) Afterward, we dive into sex-positive CNM relationships (consensual non-monogamy,) in an effort to help new people who might be considering trying it out. CNM has different faces - be it swinging, poly relationships, DTF / FWB, or enjoying an occasional 3rd person within an otherwise exclusive relationship.

Managing any one of these arrangements can be intimidating - particularly out of the bedroom - so we'll discuss the psychology behind why some people cringe at the thought of it vs. monogamous hetero-normative unions like being engaged / married. We're referencing this great article from MindBodyGreen Relationships as a starting point, and then merge into the conversation a correlating study about jealousy differences between those relationships.
