News Briefing: The Bank of Korea raised its key interest rate to the one percent range for the first time in 20 months. The bank’s monetary policy board raised the rate by zero-point-25 percentage points to one percent during a meeting on Thursday. The BOK meanwhile maintained the country's economic growth outlook at four percent. (Koo Heejin)



In-Depth News Analysis: The KDCA reported on Wednesday that a woman 24 weeks in to her pregnancy delivered a stillborn baby. She had tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Dr. Kang Hyun-Mi from Seoul St. Mary's Hospital joins the show to discuss how the disease could affect expecting mothers and their babies, among other issues, such as vaccination in children and teenagers.

Explore Korea: Allison Needels from the travel blog Pinpoint Korea takes us to the Seoul Museum of Craft Art(???????), which opened earlier this year near Anguk Station. At the newly opened museum, visitors can learn all about Korean handicraft and its craftspeople.
