Author Warren Perrin knew David Berger, the Israeli weightlifter, and he recently wrote a book called The Weight of History, the Power of Apology: Remembering Lifter David Berger 50 Years after the Munich Olympics to memorialize his friend and reflect on what it means to receive an apology for a devastating act.

Warren is co-founder of the Acadian Heritage & Culture Foundation which celebrates the French culture of Louisiana, and he has authored several books. You can follow him on Facebook.
