Welcome to the 1943 episode, where the war is again affecting the league. Again Geelong sits out, but the VFL comes up with a fair way to play the season out, knowing that teams need to have byes, which will then see me raise a question about Collingwood. We will also discuss Roy Cazaly’s rebranding of Hawthorn, Fitzroy seems to be back after a long time playing in mediocrity, with captain Fred Hughson being awarded a world title! Jack Dyer’s prediction of vengeance begins to come to fruition, and the lightening premiership is back!

The Kick to Kick Podcast aims to go through each year of the VFL/AFL season and bring out the stories, highlights, winners, and losers of days gone by.
