(BDD) occasionally still called dysmorphophobia, is a mental disorder characterized by the obsessive idea that some aspect of one's own body part or appearance is severely flawed and therefore warrants exceptional measures to hide or fix it. In BDD's delusional variant, the flaw is imagined. If the flaw is actual, its importance is severely exaggerated.
Recently K. Michelle revealed a new face to social media, and it may not have been received or unnoticed as she expected. Some applauded while others shook their heads in disgust. Let's face it, cosmetic surgery has always been a thing but just like homosexuality or transgenders and sex, it's no longer a taboo or a kept secret!
