So not only do you have to drink your idols you have to pay for your sins. Honestly when I first discovered this part i was shaken to my core. With what these people went through to telling Aaron we need an idol is such an amazing brain fart. To Moses just wiping out 3000 of the people he was leading for the next 40 years into the promise land. To me this is a comedy of errors that saw a generation killed and died off to hit a rock twice and stopping the man himself from never going to the promise land but just seeing it. To think it all started with a golden calf. *spoilers if you havent read the bible*
