Kicking it off with the Buzz Question about cannabis dispensaries on tribal land. Madera Co. has signed a new memorandum of understanding with the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians, which would double the number of devices inside the casino and allow for the sale of cannabis on tribal land. Over the weekend, Clovis Police Department conducted a DUI checkpoint at Clovis and Gettysburg Avenues. Two attempted to flee, including an underage, unlicensed driver who crashed into a fire hydrant and flooded Clovis and Ashlan.
