This week on Knowing Animals we are joined by Dr Kristof Dhont. Kristof is Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Kent. We discuss his journal article ‘Common Ideological Roots of Speciesism and Generalized Ethnic Prejudice: The Social Dominance Human–Animal Relations Model (SD-HARM)’ which appeared in the European Journal of Personality. We should give a quick shout out to his co-authors Gordon Hodson and Ana C. Leite.
