More than 400 evacuees from Afghanistan have arrived in Utah since the Taliban take-over. The state is expecting that number to double by February. During the Trump administration, refugee resettlement in Utah slowed to a trickle, but now, with the new Afghan arrivals, it’s more like a flood.
