About today’s guest:

Karla Arredondo has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a masters in occupational therapy. She's been a pediatric occupational therapist for seven years, and for the last five years she's also specialized in women's health occupational therapy.

As a women's health occupational therapist, Karla supports women and all birthing people in planning for the fourth trimester - this includes things like home modifications and ergonomic education, pelvic health, breastfeeding & sleep support, maternal mental health, infant attachment and attunement, and safe return to work and exercise. She has additional training in postpartum functional exercise, perinatal health, and maternal mental health.

Karla is passionate about bringing kind, compassionate, and culturally-sensitive care to women, breaking the stigma of mental health in the Latinx communities, addressing health from a preventative approach, and empowering people through education and by helping them rebuild confidence in themselves.
