The Villanova Wildcats did not play in the fall of 2020 due to the COVID19 pandemic, but they played some games in the spring, going 2-2 in an abbreviated schedule. Back in 2019, Villanova had an excellent season, going 9-4 while qualifying for the playoffs. The Wildcats of the Colonial Athletic Association and head coach Mark Ferrante will open the 2021 campaign on Saturday, September 4th with a non-conference road game at Lehigh.
