This week on the X-Treme Threads Lacrosse Classified podcast, Evan & Jake break down Game 2 of the NLL Finals, including the crazy last few minutes of the game and how the Calgary Roughnecks managed to beat the Buffalo Bandits. Curt Malawsky and Dane Dobbie join us on the show.

 

Our first guest is Curt Malawsky, former player for the Calgary Roughnecks and now their head coach. Curt recently won his second NLL title and first as a coach. He breaks down in detail the last few minutes, talks about the contributions of both of his big name players — and not so big name players — and his long time close relationship with Dane Dobbie.

Our second guest is the assistant captain of the Calgary Roughnecks, Dane Dobbie, who was also named playoff MVP. We anticipate he will be named league MVP in the coming weeks. Dane is also the head coach of the Langley Thunder Junior A program. Dane talks about the dying minutes in Game 2, the contributions of his teammates and his relationship with his head coach.
