Coach Moran is on his second season as the Head Coach of UMBC Men’s Lacrosse. He started off his coaching career at Navy Prep. From there he moved back to his alma-mater as the offensive coordinator at Maryland. HIs offense averaged 11 goals / game over his 6 year period. His next move was to Loyola where in 2016 his offense average 12 goals / game. In June of 2016 he took over at UMBC for Coach Zimmerman after 23 years.Joe Yevoli spoke with Coach Moran two days before their victory over an undefeated and #1 ranked, Albany. During the call they talked about how he handled coaching the Navy Prep team by himself. What he learned his first few years at Maryland.
