As the COVID-19 vaccine rollout continues, more women report experiencing a change in their menstrual cycle after receiving their shot. While there's still research being done, cycle changes are very common and they can be attributed to stress, diet or other changes, so it's hard to link them to the vaccine. That said, many women have taken to social media to talk about how they’re experiencing heavier-than-normal periods and other menstrual changes after getting vaccinated. To better understand these abnormalities, Dr. Oakley will explain, and Holly shares her menstruation experience following her vaccine in this episode.
