- Hebrews 13:20-21 - Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in [b]you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

- Philippians 2:13 -  for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

- John 7:37-39 - On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

- Proverbs 4:23 - Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.

- Proverbs 27:19 - As in water face reflects face,
So a man’s heart reveals the man.

- Matthew 12:34-35 - Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.

Before God does something through you, God wants to do something in you.

1. Ask (Luke 11:13 - If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”)

2. Receive by faith (Mark 11:24 - Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.)

3. The Word of God (John 6:63 - It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.)

4. Prayer & Fasting (Mark 1:35 - Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed. //  Mark 9:29 - So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”)

5. Praise & Thanksgiving (Ephesians 5:19-20 - speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,)
