Sermon Series Description

The Enneagram is a personality typing system built around why we do what we do. By examining our motivations, it can help us not only understand the way we see and act in the world, but it can help us identify the defense mechanisms we use to get through life. And ultimately, the better we understand ourselves, the more we can hear God’s specific message of love and grace toward us.

Sermon Description

The Enneagram’s Heart Triad - 2, 3, 4

1 John 4:7-11, 19-21

Those in the heart triad struggle with feeling loved for who they are, and so they craft themselves into what they think the world will value. They can change the world through their kindness, focus, and creativity. The good news of the Gospel for people dominant in these types is that God loved us first, before we ever had a chance to try to earn it.
