Description: At Christmas, we don’t simply remember and celebrate Jesus’ coming 2,000 years ago. But through this retelling of the story, we are to see ourselves in the shoes of those waiting and ultimately receiving the presence of Christ. The same God who has been with us in the past and is with us in the present will be with us forever.

Description: As we remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus, we should point to his role as Messiah and Savior. But we should also remember that Jesus didn’t just come to do things for us, but he came to be with us. And with that in mind, we can look for ways to be present ourselves.
