Scripture: Matthew 25:31-46

There’s an old theater joke about an actor asking the director, “What’s my motivation?” The director replies, “Your paycheck.” The point of the joke is that it’s the actors job to just do what’s on the page, not understand it. This is how some approach the Bible and their faith as well, but it is not at all how God intends it.
