In the first recap episode of "Hangout in the Holy Land" of the 2021 season, Gene Ross and Josh Dooley get into all of the ups and downs from Ohio State's 45-31 victory over the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Thursday night. While there were some familiar issues on the defense, given the injuries and the bizarre rotation, there were plenty of things on that side of the ball to be encouraged by.
The offense struggled in the second quarter, but the unit looked strong the rest of the game, and for his struggles on seemingly easy passes, C.J. Stroud put up pretty impressive numbers in his starting debut, Chris Olave continued to show why he's the No. 1 wide receiver in the country, and Miyan Williams and TreVeyon Henderson proved that they are legit home run hitters at running back.
