This episode comes from Wednesday, August 14th’s press conferences for both head coach Ryan Day and co-defensive coordinator Greg Mattison.   
First up, we hear from Ryan Day. In his comments he confirms that he is planning on announcing a starting quarterback on Monday, and that Justin Fields has shown tremendous progress since Saturday’s practice. He also said that the coaches believe that Chris Olave is on track to be a quote every- down receiver. And, he updated the battle to be the team’s back-up-running back. 
After you hear from Coach Day, Greg Mattison will be up next. He discusses the linebackers in depth, and depending on how you felt about the rotation in 20-18, you might not like what he has to say. He also has high praise for Chase Young and talks about working with Jeff Hafley and Larry Johnson.
