Land-Grant Holy Land's newest podcast series, Stick to Sports, will be unlike any podcast you've heard on the Ohio State beat. Your hosts, Tia Johnston and Matt Tamanini, will (of course) talk Ohio State football, but the primary focus of the show will be on what's going on around the periphery, such as weird/funny happenings in college football and the sports world at large, as well as other things that keep us interested in between games, whether that's pop culture, social media trends-- you name it.
Tia and Matt begin this week's episode by discussing Ohio State's victory over Penn State, and why the only thing fans should be upset about from that game is the horrendous fake crowd noise they forced into our ears for four straight hours. They then rehash what will go down in history as one of the best college football plays ever, which came at the hands of Rutgers in the fourth quarter against Indiana last Saturday. And before ending the show with their What To Watch recommendations, the duo gets into a tortilla chip debate, which ultimately forms into a new weekly project.
