The bill, introduced by U.S. Rep. Brian Babin, is H.R. 5417, "The Responsible and Effective Standards for Truckers” or REST Act. It amends the Hours of Service regulations for truckers, allowing you the option of pausing the 14 hour clock for a period of up to 3 hours, and eliminating the 30 minute break rule.
