THEKYD aka Alejandro Chavez aka CHAVO (songwriter/producer/Vinyl DJ) is a veteran of the Abq Hip Hop Community and 1 half of the hard-core Duke City HipHop duo "Government Cheese." THEKYD is the group's Administrative director and founder of Budhound Recordz. He is also the Co-founder and Event Coordinator for “PeaceStyle”; a community collective created to provide aspiring youths a place to perform and to help serve the Abq homeless community.
