Jacob’s journey with the Lord was filled with sin, stumbling and setbacks. In Genesis 35 we have another turning point in the life of this patriarch. Finally, after much delay and disobedience, Jacob goes back to Bethel, the place where Jacob’s walk with God began. For Jacob, going back to Bethel was like going home. In Jacob’s sunset years we are going to see four new things enter his life. For us this passage is going to help us understand how we can get out of a spiritual slump by going back to our spiritual roots
