In this week's episode, we explore the idea of lawyer resilience. Adam Markel, a practicing lawyer for 18 years on the East Coast and now the author of “Pivot: The Art and Science of Reinventing Your Career and Life,” talks with Heather Nevitt, editor-in-chief of Law.com affiliates Corporate Counsel and Global Leaders in Law. Markel, who spends a lot of his time on the speaker circuit talking to business groups on the topic of resilience, says it is not about endurance. Instead, it involves taking care of ourselves physically, spiritually and intellectually.

Markel will be the keynote speaker at Corporate Counsel’s General Counsel Conference in New York going on Sept. 25 and 26. Click here for more information.
