 PSYCHOLOGICAL ANXIETY





    • Social Anxiety Disorder:




      • Excessive fear of social situation that would expose one to scrutiny. Symptoms usually last six months or more.






      • The fear is out of proportion to the actual threat posed by the social situation.









    • Panic Disorder:

      • An abrupt surge of intense fear or discomfort that reaches a peak within minutes.





      • Heart pounding, sweating, shaking, shortness of breath, choking, chest pains, nausea, dizzy, chills or heat, numbness or tinging, derealization, fear of losing control or dying.
