On today's episode, I speak with Courtney Putnam a visual artist, writer, and teacher. Her MFA is in poetry writing, with a focus on poetry of the body; her primary art mediums are collage, mixed media, acrylic painting, and encaustic painting; and she is the author and artist of the book and oracle deck Body Cards: Insight from the Body, Wisdom for the Soul (Schiffer Publishing, 2016). She teaches writing, college success, and magazine publication courses at Cascadia College in Bothell and is the instructor for Yours Truly, Cascadia's creative arts magazine. Once a massage therapist and Reiki healer, Courtney brings a whole-body approach to creative expression and encourages artistic play and intuitive creativity in all forms.
