the collapse of over 15,000 buildings. The disaster left 299 people dead,1,500 injured and about 34,000 living in emergency shelters. UCL's Dr
Tiziana Rossetto led a team of earthquake experts to the devastated regionto investigate why it suffered so much damage from an earthquake of
relatively modest size.
