โ€œYes my parents beat me, but I would never say I was abused" ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿพ
This week the #LetMeSipPod team explore the issues of giving to receive and how to raise your children.

With the recent passing by of one of the team's birthday, we start this episode by asking how do you celebrate birthdays? Are you one for surprises, being the centre of attention or are you someone who likes things more low key?

We also ask does it matter how expensive a gift is or do thoughtful gifts means a lot more? And would you be happy to receive something you genuinely did not need/would not use? Or would you prefer the giver to save their money?

We then ask in this age how protective would you be over your children? And would you want to monitor where your child is or who they are talking to?

On this theme, the team discuss what age they would give their child a phone? And how they would protect their children from the risks of smartphones and social media?

In the second segment we consider the topic of discipline and punishment. We ask would you beat your children and what are the alternatives? Should smacking be illegal? And if not, how do you know when to and when not to?

Finally the group get into a heated debate surrounding the idea of doing favours for friends. We ask should your friends feel entitled to ask you for support in promoting their personal hustles e.g. if you have an established following, platform or professional network? And does the same apply if they ask for other products and services which you offer?

As always we welcome your opinions and comments.
