Following on from comments by Idris Elba, the Let Me Sip team look at the issue of censorship of content seen as racist. What does this mean in the context of the taking down of statues of ‘racist’ famous Brits – what do they represent, and do we have a right to demand their removal?
In the second segment we consider Kanye West’s bid for presidency including his fitness to lead, comparisons to Trump and of course the infamous “that sounds like a choice” comment. We also look at the Jada/Will/August ‘entanglement’ and whether this situation-ship was a case of taking advantage of a vulnerable young person.
