:: ::

In a super-sized wrap up episode, Mike and Dan recap the Islanders season-ending loss to the Lightning in the Eastern Conference Final and chat with writer Arthur Staple about the season and postseason that was. The hosts talk about "something funky" turned out to be the overtime winner and how the players left it all out there. They also discuss how having a legitimately successful team has changed the Islanders and had the fun side effect of pissing a lot of people off. Later, Staple talks about the injuries that had an impact on the Islanders in the series and how they could impact offseason plans as well. He examines players whose stock may have risen and fallen in the organization, how their demeanor may or may not have changed throughout the run and about dealing with chirps from folks outside of the fanbase. Finally, they add music recommendations, a shout out to the Offside Tavern and quick look at the Stanley Cup final. Thanks to everyone for listening along this season and we'll be back with offseason and draft episodes soon.
