At just 22-years old, Denis Potvin made NHL history while enduring slumps, injuries, being benched, being booed by his own fans and pissing off a team of All Stars. Despite all of the obstacles - self-created or otherwise - Potvin’s supreme talent always shined through, and he went on to have one of the best individual seasons in Islanders history, even to this day.
