142 - Sarah The Girl Who Imagined Her Mum and Dad Back - An E3D Original - a podcast by Storyteller Martyn Kenneth

This longer story is about a girl, Sarah who lived near the top of a tall tower in a bustling city. One day, at the start of her summer holidays her mum and dad didn't return home. She had to look after herself. She was a girl who turned her fear into excitement however when she had not eaten for days her hunger and anger took over until.... she imagined a piece of chocolate into reality. Step by step She used her abilities to imagine into reality food, money, paper and pencils, signed letters, and eventually her parents...

I am not happy with the rushed ending of this story and there could have been more emphasis on Sarah's uncertainty on the reason for her ability - was it the chair, the bowl, the cereal box so that when she had them all boxed away ready for moving away forever she realized both that the ability was within her all along and it also brought her parents back...

I am going to think about this again - like the tent that wanted to be a school....

However - I still hope you enjoy it!
