General Karlus talks about understanding where we are and what we are doing based on the plan of salvation. Understanding and focusing on the plan of salvation is what keeps him from falling into paths of darkness. It is so easy to slip onto the negative road of life. When we stray from our chosen path, it gives the adversary power and he uses his subtle lies to distance us from the Savior. The truth that Satan hides is that the Lord is able to change who we are becoming even during the worst times. The Lord is our support and He will make that difference for each of us if we learn to turn to Him for help. Who we are becoming spiritually is what will bring us our greatest joy.
