He explains that having a pornography addiction is like climbing out of a mud pit. If there isn’t a hand there to pull you out, then you just sink back in. This young man discusses how the adversary led him to think that people would treat him with anger, but instead they treated him with love. His Stake President and Bishop reminded him how much Heavenly Father and the Savior loved him and that he was still a good person regardless of the addiction. His struggles really taught him about the power of the atonement and that God really knows us. The best form of recovery is prevention. If you are already stuck, then get help as soon as you can.
