Welcome to the Living In Portland Oregon Podcast EP. 4
===========================================
Did you know, that in 2010, Beaverton was named by Money magazine as one of the 100 "best places to live", among smaller cities in the country?
In this episode, we are talking about the cost of living on the West side of Portland. Being much more expensive from the national average, Iโm going to walk you how it is like to live here in Beaverton from groceries, daycare, to gas costs!
Here are some quick points based on our personal experience:
๐Daycare is the most expensive part for me, by far on an average of $50/day.
๐ The cost of electricity is cheaper compared to the national average.
๐ Transportation is incredible ($3 for an all-day pass for buses)
๐ Healthcare cost is lower than the national average
๐ ย Housing cost is cheaper compared to the Portland Metro. There is a LOT of new construction going on here in Beaverton! With 391k at the median, thereโs a lot of amazing options that will suit your familyโs needs.
๐ฒ If you are moving or relocating here to Portland or Southwest Washington, we can make that transition so much easier on you!!
