Ep. 23 : Harmonising Of One's Thought, Word&Deed - a podcast by Sai Babas Devotee Speaks

Paramhansa Ramakrishna Dev emphatically stated that in the age of the Kaliyuga, the only penance is Truthfulness.

Truthfulness, or abiding in truth, is not limited to only one's speech, but in the complete Harmonising of one's Thoughts, Words, and Deeds. This is indeed quite difficult,  but just being aware of this can become a very deep sadhana.

In this important talk, we discuss with Gautam how one can implement this in their lives. Baba often said, "If you do something, do it properly, or do not do it at all." Many people struggle with not being able to say No at the right times, as a result of which, they wind up doing things that they do not really want to do, causing major inner turmoil; this then affects their spiritual life.

In this talk, we cover the following topics :

- The synchronising of one's thoughts, words, and deeds brings a feeling of integrity
 - Learning how to say 'No' when needed
 - How people will respect you when you say no
 - How not to be a 'people pleaser'
 - Balancing being kind with being discerning

 - The new Sai Satcharita and and how it can become an important tool for devotees
