We humans have desires. Desires that are confined to the tangible realm and are born out of obsession of having everything for own benefits. However if we look at the broader aspect of the human life, we would realize that the birth and death are the only truths about this mundane life and  nothing that we desire for today is going to exist forever. We shall therefore move our desires, hopes and prayers towards attaining spiritual enlightenment.
