Vacation Week is over and Ryan Andrews is back in Nova Scotia, ready to discuss the Blue Jays topics du jour.
After a sombre opening reflecting on last night's shooting in Toronto, Andrews moves on to analyze the Blue Jays sweep of the Orioles, highlighting performances from Marcus Stroman, Aledmys Diaz and Randal Grichuk. However, the host can not get too excited over dispatching a team that just traded its superstar, and raises concerns with how much trouble the O's gave the Jays.
In the second half, Andrews discusses Ken Rosenthal's report that the Phillies are interested in Curtis Granderson. It's a good fit, and the host highlights a pair of arms that would make for an interesting return for the Blue Jays. Andrews also bids farewell to Chris Rowley, claimed by Texas, and how the Jays are now very thin in the rotation at a time when rotation pieces are on the move.
