Flag Day Monday on the podcast began with a lookahead to BYU Football Media Day this Thursday as Jake Hatch explains what he's heard about the latest in regards to the ongoing national debate with Name, Image and Likeness legislation and how the BYU athletic department is preparing for the anticipated changes, especially in football

Attention then centered on the 100 Seasons of BYU Football Countdown as we looked back on 1964 and the dawn of the Tommy Hudspeth era for the BYU football program. Jake was joined by Mel Olson, a center and linebacker on the 1964 team to talk about the opening of the Hudspeth era in addition to Cougar Stadium (now LaVell Edwards Stadium)

Finally, the podcast wrapped up with a recap of how the NCAA track and field championships went for the BYU men's and women's programs at Hayward Field in Eugene, OR. Jake explained why the 10th place finish overall and Anna Camp-Bennett's national championship were so significant as the 2020-21 season for the Cougars comes to a close
