Former BYU assistant coach Mel Olson then lent his thoughts on the 1984 campaign to the listeners as he talked about the accomplishment that he had been a part of since the 1970's and what it meant to the program to have built to that point and then celebrate being the top team in the country

The podcast wrapped up with other BYU news and notes, including celebrating Fisher Jackson Day (53 days until kick-off), academic honors handed out to Kennedy Eschenberg and Allysha Mae Mateo from the women's volleyball and golf programs, respectively, and the first team-wide NIL deal for BYU football being announced
