We then took a look back at the 1988 season with the 100 Seasons of BYU Football Countdown as the quarterback dearth in Provo came to an end as a plucky young freshman named Ty Detmer showed he had the skills to be the next great signal-caller for the Cougars despite being a reserve most of the year

Finally, the show wrapped up with some thoughts on LSU transfer Seneca Knight, who is expected to announce Monday that he will play for Mark Pope and the BYU men's basketball program, Jake Hatch explained why he he believes Knight fills a critical role on the Cougars' roster and appears to be a perfect addition
