What if Bobby Evans hadn't been fired as the Giants' general manager? Things would look a whole lot different. Obviously, Farhan Zaidi never would have been brought into the organization. It's likely that a lot of supplemental players from the 2018 team would have been brought back, and several key future pieces like Mike Yastrzemski, Alex Dickerson, Mauricio Dubón, Donovan Solano, and Trevor Gott never would have been brought in. It's probably more likely that Madison Bumgarner would still be a Giant, too.
