These will both have salary cap implications for the Jets and affect what happens on the field. The on field impact will likely be felt much deeper by Mosley’s departure as he is the better player and was likely to take on a bigger role. The Jets signed Winters’ short-term replacement in the offseason, and he was part of some bottom of the league offensive lines in recent seasons.
